Wellerbyte is the trading name of Michael Chambers, a sole trader. I'm responsible for any personal information you share through this website. You can contact me at hello@wellerbyte.com.

If you use the contact form, I receive your name, email address, and anything else you choose to tell me: your phone number, business name, the topics you tick and your message.

If I send you the Discovery questionnaire, I receive your name, business name, email address and the answers you give.

I don't ask you to create an account, and the forms don't collect anything else about you.

Only to reply to you, arrange a conversation you've asked for, and prepare for work you've asked me to do. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and taking steps you've asked for before we agree any work.

I won't add you to a mailing list or share your details with anyone for marketing.

When you send a form, it's emailed to my business inbox, which runs on Microsoft 365. The website is hosted by Vercel. These providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.

If we don't go on to work together, I delete your enquiry within 12 months. If you become a client, I keep what's needed for the work and for my business records.

This website doesn't use cookies. I use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits to each page. It doesn't use cookies, and it doesn't identify you or follow you across other websites.

You can ask to see the information I hold about you, ask me to correct it or delete it, or object to how I use it. Email me at hello@wellerbyte.com and I'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

If this notice changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new date.
